If you know me, you know I am a big proponent of prevention. By working diligently to avert a crisis, you’ll protect your plants and your time, too. Infestations and mold get out of hand quickly, so stopping these problems before they start is crucial.
In the Vivosun tent experiment, we’re trying out Grow SafeⓇ, an all-in-one product that protects against bugs, mites, and fungi. Made by AgroMagen, this non-toxic, all-natural solution is safe yet powerful. It is OMRI-certified and completely safe for organic cultivation.
We applied Grow SafeⓇ to the plants early in veg and have been re-applying once per week since. It's crucial to apply Grow SafeⓇ evenly, ensuring that all plant surfaces are thoroughly covered. These guidelines are relevant for almost any sprayable product, ensuring optimal coverage and results. Always test a new product on a few leaves and check for any reactions after 24 hours. This ensures you can identify potential issues before applying it more broadly.
Grow SafeⓇ Application Guide for Pest Control
1.Dilution:
Mix Grow SafeⓇ at 2.5-3%, adjusting based on the severity of the infestation.
2. Application:
Turn off your lights!
Use a high-quality sprayer for even coverage.
Spray thoroughly—cover all plant surfaces, including under the leaves, ensuring full penetration.
Apply generously until droplets begin to drip from the leaves.
3. Drying Time:
Allow the plant to fully dry before turning grow lights back on (approximately 20 minutes).
4. Repeat Applications:
3 days later → Apply a second treatment.
Another 3 days later → Apply a third treatment.
5. Expected Results:
If applied correctly, you should see at least 80% pest mortality within 48 hours.
Follow-up treatments will target any remaining pests or newly hatched eggs.
6. Ongoing Prevention:
Once the infestation is under control, apply a preventative spray every 7-10 days to keep pests from returning.
