GROW TIP: DUST IN THE BUD
As we all know, fresh-growing marijuana bud is quite sticky. Very often, whether grown outdoors or in, it catches dust, dirt, dander, hair and fur, small insects, and other airborne particles. For that reason, it’s a good idea to filter the air using a HEPA filter indoors and to keep pets and anything else that could create airborne particles out of the grow space.
Keeping the buds clean of debris outdoors is a lot more challenging. There is no way of filtering outdoor air. However, if you use a lace cloth to cover the plants, perhaps utilizing a frame, you could eliminate some of the particulates.
Wetting down dry soil in and around the garden also helps to keep dust from drifting up to the plants.
Another method is to build a wall around the plants to prevent wind. You can do that over the next several weeks in your spare time.
